<p>PURPOSE:The titled composition excellent in dispersibility of an inorganic filler and excellent in moldability and mechanical properties, prepared by mixing a composition comprising a PP resin and an inorganic filler with a petroleum- derived solftener as a dispersing aid for the inorganic filler. CONSTITUTION:A polypropylene composition prepared by mixing (A) 10-80wt% PP resin with (B) 90-20wt% inorganic filler (e.g., CaCO3 or talc) and (C) 0.05- 7pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. total of A and B, petroleum-derived softener (e.g., process oil, paraffin or fluid paraffin) as a dispersing aid for the inorganic filler. The addition of aid (C) facilitates dispersing of the filler and makes it possible to provide moldings excellent in moldability and mechanical properties.</p> |
