PURPOSE:To control seat position for easy getting on and off a car by detecting opening and closing of a door and a position of the driven seat by means of sensors. CONSTITUTION:A seat 20 is held on a rotary shaft 25 via a turning table 22 and driven by a motor 30. The seat is provided with a door opening and closing detective means and a position sensing signal generating means. When the door is opened, the seat is turned to face a person for ready seating and, when the door is closed, the seat is returned to the car running position. The motor which drives the seat to turn is directed by an electronic controller. The seat is provided with IC units SWdp and SWsp serving as a signal generating means and an IC unit serving as an opening and closing detective means. |
