The invention concerns a lockable nut on a thread (4), comprising two ring shaped parts (1,2), which are held together by a screw (5) arranged in a threaded hole (6,7) in each of the parts. The threads (6,7) in the holes and corresponding threaded parts on the screw (5) have different pitches, whereby the nut parts are moved axially relative to one another by the screw's (5) turning, so that the nut's threads engage firmly in the bolt thread (4).<IMAGE> |
