PURPOSE:To perform an effective feed of the oil, by making wider a gap between the surface of a bearing, positioned on a high pressure space side, and a main bearing with an oil feed mechanism interposed therebetween than a gap between the surface of a bearing, located on the reverse side, and the main shaft. CONSTITUTION:By normally filling the inside of an oil feed channel 18 with a lubricating oil, an excellent lubrication of a second main bearing liner part 7c2 on the low pressure space side takes place. Even if a bearing clearance narrows as a result of a bearing load being applied to a main shaft 6, since a clearance e1 is wider than a clearance e2, an oil film pressure is generated at the second main bearing liner part 7c2 on the low pressure space side and a load is kept from being applied to a second main bearing liner 7c1 on a high pressure space side, which results in no metal contact and preventing the occurrence of seizure. |
