The bent-around formations (12) of the door plate edges form an outer wall part (13) and an inner wall part (14), and the two other edges of the door are bent around in the area within the inner wall parts to form beams (18) which are firmly attached to the inner wall parts and bridge over the distance between them. Each of the bent-around formations (12) has a rectangular cross section, and the two wall parts (13,14) are connected to each other by a part (15) which is parallel to the door front. Also, each bent-around formation has at its two ends a pair of end pieces (16), formed as parts of a hinge. The beams (18) are triangular in cross-section and are positioned at a distance from the edges parallel to them. The beam ends have flaps (22) projecting and at right angles to the longitudinal direction, and which are welded to the inner wall parts (14). |
