发明名称 LASER HEAT-SENSITIVE PRINTER USING POLYGONAL MIRROR
摘要 PURPOSE:To form a heat-sensitive coloring layer having large absorbing capacity of wavelength to heat-sensitive paper and to realize high-speed printing with direct irradiation of laser, by forming a scan system with a rotating polygonal mirror and using a CO2 gas laser light source. CONSTITUTION:The feed route of the recording paper 10 is bent downward before it reaches a beam irradiation position by means of a device provided with a rotating polygonal mirror. A paper roll 12 is set right under the paper 10, and the paper 10 fed right above the roll 12 is bent at the beam irradiation position and kept horizontal. A mirror 8a is provided in a space and held by a motor 16 with a proper inclination given to a rotary shaft 15. Therefore, the mirror 8a reflects the laser beam to a focus mirror 9, and is scanned and made incident to the paper 10 with a desired beam diameter. The laser beam is delivered from a CO2 gas laser oscillator.
