PHOSPHATE AND SILICATE-FREE LOW-FOAMING DISHWASHING DETERGENTS AND AQUEOUS CONCENTRATES THEREFROM The subject invention relates to dishwashing detergents containing a partially neutralized aminocarboxylic acid, a water-soluble carboxyl group containing polymer, and a low-foaming nonionic surfactant. The pH of the detergent is between 6.0 and 8.5 and is controlled by appropriately selecting the amounts of ingredients to be used. The dishwashing detergents are particularly useful in automatic dishwashers, and offer several advantages because they are phosphate free, and are of neutral pH in aqueous solution.
