<p>PURPOSE:To save labor required for water control in rice cultivation by a method in which the rotation of a screw by water stream in an open waterway is used as drive sources for an intake valve-opening and closing mechanism and a dust-removing mechanism by gradually increasing it by a combination of gears. CONSTITUTION:When the water level of a paddy field C is reduced, a float 6 is lowered, and the engagement of the gears of a gear box 5 is switched to an opening operation by the action of an operating lever 6a to open an intake valve 1 by a shaft 2 to open or close the intake valve for taking water. When the water level in the paddy field C reaches a given level, the engagement of the gears in the box 5 is switched to closing operation by the action of the lever 6a to close the valve 1. On the other hand, the rotation torque of the sprocket 7 to turn a dust remover to a given direction is increased by a combination of gears, and the sprocket 7 is connected with the gear 10 provided to the main roller shaft of support rollers 8, 8a, 8b, and 8c to stretch a net 9 in order to turn the net 9 in a belt conveyer form.</p> |
