PURPOSE:To prevent temperature rise of other closed spaces from being produced owing to freezing of a packing and opening of a rack cover by leading cold air introduced from an upper stage suction inlet to a lower stage closed space through an upper stage closed space, and guiding the cold air from a lower stage rack bottom plate and intervals of protrusion walls to the rear. CONSTITUTION:In a refrigerator wherein a freezing chamber 41 is constructed with a heat insulating box with an opened front surface and with a door for closing the opening and upper and lower racks 43, 43' are provided on internal plates 42, 42' of the door, rack covers 45, 45' are provided on the internal plates 42, 42' for forming a substantially closed space together with the internal plates 42, 42' and the racks 43, 43', the rack covers being rotatable vertically. Further, a suction inlet 53 is formed on the upper portion of the rack covers and blow-off outlets 44, 44' are formed in bottom plates of the racks 43, 43'. A protruded wall 48 is provided on the internal plates 42, 42 which has a space between it and the bottom plate of the lower stage rack 43'. Hereby, cold air introduced from the upper stage suction inlet 53 is fed into the lower stage space after passage through the upper stage closed space and is guided backwardly through the space between the lower stage rack bottom plate and the protruded wall 48. |
