PURPOSE:To maintain the stable operation of a blast furnace by preparing beforehand a number of charging patterns indicating the ore/coke distribution differing in the direction along the circumference of the furnace and estimating the charging pattern which reduces the abnormality in the furnace condition. CONSTITUTION:Charging patterns A-D showing the ore/coke distributions differing in the direction along the circumference of a furnace are prepared by combining the selection of bunkers and the conditions for the swiveling directions and swiveling speeds of a swiveling chute. The patterns A and B or C and D are used alternately by a number of charges in the steady operation to prevent the deviation in the ore/coke (O/C) distribution. If any furnace wall brick is damaged, the charging pattern by which the O/C ratio in said region is increased is assigned to suppress the elevation of the temp. in said region. If the furnace wall is stuck with any deposit, the charging pattern by which the O/C ratio in said region is decreased is assigned to elevate the temp. |
