PURPOSE:To improve performance and an assembling property, by a method wherein an independent suspension device, having merits of both a double wishbone type and a strut type suspension device, is formed. CONSTITUTION:A pair of upper and lower support arms 2 and 3 and a knuckle arm 4 positioned between said arms 2 and 3 are arranged monolithically at a base end of an axle of a wheel W. A forward end of a No.1 control arm 6, whose base end is supported by means of a pin at a chassis frame F, is connected to the lower support arm 3 through a ball joint 7, and a hydraulic shock absorber 8 is positioned between the middle part of the control arm 6 and the chassis frame F. A base end of a No.2 control arm 13 is supported by means of a pin at a middle part of a cylinder 10 of the shock absorber 8, and the forward end of the No.2 control arm 13 is connected to the upper support arm 2 through a ball joint 15. |
