DEVICE FOR CHANNEL SELECTION OF TELEVISION RECEIVER

PURPOSE:To select a channel selected prior to the channel selected at present with a simple operation and to select two optional channels alternately with a simple operation by providing the titled device with a prior channel storing part. CONSTITUTION:If a remote controller 1 is operated in order to select the 15th channel e.g. when the 48th channel is selected at present by the television receiver, a decoder 6 is kept in the state that a channel specifying signal to specify the 15th channel is stored in itself. Receiving said latch command signal from the decoder 6, a delay register 10 sends a channel specifying signal to display the 48th channel which has been already stored to a prior channel storing register 9 and stores a channel specifying signal to specify the 15th channel which is outputted from a selector 8. The prior channel storing register 9 receives and stores the channel specifying signal to specify the 48th channel which is sent from the selector 8.
