SHADOW MARK REDUCER OF HEATING FURNACE FOR METALLIC PIECE

PURPOSE:To reduce shadow marks surely and to control temp. surely by releasing combustion gas from the assistant burner installed in a furnace through a radiation pipe having a horizontal part and an open end into the furnace. CONSTITUTION:A material 1 to be heated moves on a support 3 for a material to be heated in a heating furnace and is heated with upper and lower burners 5, 6. A radiation pipe 10 having a horizontal part 11 and an open end 12 is installed on the furnace inner side of an assistant burner 8 provided in the lower wall 7 at the discharge end and the horizontal part 11 thereof is positioned lowe than the bottom surface of the material 1 and near the place in contact with the horizontal part of the support 3. The heat generated by the combustion of the burner 8 heats the pipe 10 and the shadow mark part of the material 1 is heated by the radiation heat from the part 11. The shadow marks are thus reduced without the influence of the flow of the gas in a heating furnace 2.
