PURPOSE:To prevent such a trouble as an abnormal rise in temperature when using an electric carpet jointly with an electric KOTATSU, by a method wherein the distribution density of a heater located at a central part of an electric carpet is set to be lower than that at a peripheral part, and a layer of the heater located at the central part is provided with a highly heat-conductive layer. CONSTITUTION:The carpet 1 comprises a carpet heater 2 and a sensor wire 3 provided in meandering forms therein. In this case, the distribution density of a central heater part 2a of the heater 2 is set to be lower than that of a peripheral heater part 2b. A highly heat-conductive sheet 4 is intermediately provided between the central heater part 2a and a surface textile, and the highly heat-conductive layer is provided at an upper layer of the central heater part 2a. Ac- cordingly, when the carpet 1 is used singly, surface temperature is maintained to be uniform over the entire surface by the function of the sheet 4, and when the carpet 1 is used jointly with the electric KOTATSU, the heater 2 is controlled by a controller 6 through detecting the heat of the sheet 4 by the sensor wire 3. |
