PURPOSE:To precisely and quickly retrieve an image as desired, by arranging such that an image to be retrieved is approximately detected at an accelerated speed, and then an absolute address is read out from an audio track and the like wherein such an address is written down, in a cooking oven having a VTR. CONSTITUTION:A cooking oven comprises a VTR control device 1 adapted to control a VTR3 and retrieve an image as demanded in response to a demand for the same from a cooking oven controller 2. A control pulse signal CTL produced by a VTR3 in response to a travelling of a video tape is outputted together with an absolute address signal ADR and a video signal etc. The cooking oven further comprises a counting means 6 for counting a signal CTL, an absolute address input means 7 for taking in a signal ADR and outputting an absolute address value ANOW, and a video address storing means 8. A comparative result of a discrete value of the counting means 6 with an output from the input means 7 and also with a second address value is utilized to control the control means 1. |
