PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus for X-Y plotter, etc. capable of drawing a line of fixed width regardless its recording speed by such an arrangement wherein a liquid surface stabilizing member for preventing the shaking of ink surface is provided in an ink tank and a pressure acting on the surface of ink is controlled in response to recording speeds. CONSTITUTION:In an ink tank 14, a liquid surface stabilizing member 122 (preferably, synthetic fiber, etc.) for preventing the shaking of ink surface is mounted, and ink is caused to impregnate therein. As said stabilizing member, a laminated plate or metallic nets 123 may be used, or a circular float cover 124 made of foamed polyethylene, cork, etc. of which specific gravity is smaller than ink may be used. By this, the shaking of liquid is prevented when an ink jet generator spouts ink jet while it receives acceleration in the direction perpendicular to the direction of ink jet, and it spouts ink jet stably. USE:This is most suitable to a recording head in a line recorder such as X-Y plotter for automatic drawing, etc. |
