PURPOSE:To fold the cloth semiautomatically and productively as a commodity by making part of the cloth an eight-foleded condition, putting rollers at both sides to make the whole cloth eight-foleded, then making the cloth 16-foleded with 16-foleded rollers. CONSTITUTION:The cloth 1 with a length of L is folded foleded into two with both ends overlapped 2, and a suitable length from the overlapped end 2 is further folded to make it four-folded 4, then the four-folded portion 4 is folded to make it eight-folded 5. A roller D is inserted into the eight-folded end 5, the overlapped end 2 is pinched by a plate B, and a roller A is inserted into the original two-folded portion. Accordingly, by extending the distance between the rollers A, C, plate B and the roller D to L/8, the eight-folded condition is expanded to the whole length of the cloth 1, next by inserting a roller E and putting the roller D at the same position as that of the rollers A, C, and plate B, the cloth 1 can be made 16-folded. |
