PURPOSE:To permit folded leaves to automatically drop straight into a pocket by sucking one by one folded leaves lifted by an levator with a suction roller and transferring automatically the leaves into the pocket for a leaf aligning machine while sucking them to the lower surface of a conveyer belt. CONSTITUTION:A laminate A of folded leaves is moved to an elevator 1 by the operation of a supply conveyer 2 and lifted by a carrier plate 11. When the uppermost portion of the laminate A approaches a suction roller 25, the suction roller 25 sucks one by one the folded leaves to mount them on a transfer device 4 in which a conveyer belt 34 circulates around a vacuum box 33. Respective holes 44 in the conveyer belt 34 communicate to a hole 43 in the vacuum box 33 on the lower side position to be evacuated so that the folded leaves sequentially sent from the suction roller 25 are sucked to the lower surface of the conveyer belt 34 to be sent to a pocket 3. Since the hole 44 does not communicate to the vacuum box 33 at an end of the outlet side of the conveyer belt 34, the folded leaves drop into the pocket 3. |
