PURPOSE:To save material and processing costs of a rotor by pressure deforming the end of a rotor conductor circumferentially at the side of a rotor core, integrating by welding between adjacent conductors to form an end ring, thereby eliminating the necessity of another end ring. CONSTITUTION:A rotor conductor 2 is inserted into the slot 3 of a rotor core 1, and the end of the conductor 2 projected to the side of the core 1 is circumferentially pressed and plastically deformed so that the adjacnet rotor conductors 2 are superposed. Subsequently, the adjacent conductors 2 are sequentially welded integrally, thereby forming an end ring 5. In this manner, another end ring is not necessary, thereby reducing the material and processing costs. |
