摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a thin rolled sheet having excellent core loss characteristics in medium-high frequency areas without the generation of the fracture of the material by subjecting silicon steel contg. specified C, Si, Mn, S, Al, N or the like to rough hot rolling and finish rolling under prescribed conditions and thereafter executing cold rolling and annealing. CONSTITUTION:Silicon steel constituted of, by weight, <=0.006% C, 5 to 7.1% Si, 0.07 to 0.3% Mn, <=0.007% S, 0.006 to 0.038% acid soluble Al and 8 to 30ppm Total N, and the balance Fe is melted. This steel is subjected to rough hot rolling at 1100 to 1250 deg.C at 15 to 40% draft, into which strains are introduced. Next, it is reheated to 1100 to 1250 deg.C, is subjected to finish rolling and is thereafter cold-rolled at 120 to 350 deg.C to regulate its sheet thickness into a final one. Then, annealing is executed to generate recrystallization and to grow the grains.
