PURPOSE:To generate the prescribed output voltage to the input voltages of two types by setting a converter in conductive state by a control circuit when an input voltage is a reference voltage and in an open state when it is doubled voltage. CONSTITUTION:An AC power source (e) is connected to a bridge circuit of diodes D1-D4, the output of which is connected to a series circuit of electrolytic condensers C1, C2, and the connecting point of the condensers C1, C2 is connected to the power source (e) through a converter 1 which contains a bridge circuit of diodes D5-D8, a thyristor SCR, a Zener diode DZ1, and a condenser C3. When the power source (e) is reference voltage, it is detected by a control circuit 2, thereby setting the thyristor SCR to ON to produce double DC voltage, and when the power source (e) is double voltage, the SCR is set to OFF, thereby operating it as a full-wave rectifier. Accordingly, the constant output voltage can be obtained for the inputs of two types. |
