PURPOSE:To prevent a stop roller, plate, etc., from wear by stopping a manuscript bundle with the action of the stop roller of low friction material and the stop plate of high friction material while separating and transferring the lowermost with the action of a transfer roller of high friction material and a transfer plate of low friction material. CONSTITUTION:Until a manuscript bundle is sent to a separating roller section 21 through a guide plate 2 by a manuscript feed roller 10 of a manuscript separating mechanism, a transfer roller 21b is rotatably driven by a drive shaft 22 and slidably contacts a transfer plate 25 of low friction material. On the other hand, since a stop roller 21a is not coupled with the drive shaft 22, it is left stopped and pressed against a stop plate 24. When the manuscript bundle is sent to the separating roller section 21, it is stopped therein by the action of the stop plate 24 and only the lowermost manuscript is transferred by the transfer roller 21b for separation and transfer of the manuscript. Then, since the stop roller 21a accompanies the lowermost manuscript, the surface of the manuscript is not stained by rubbing. |
