PURPOSE:To obtain an ink jet type recorder capable of controlling the amount of ink jetted by using a system in which air controlled by a specific amplification factor-varying means proportionally to the speed of a recording head is acted on ink in an ink tank. CONSTITUTION:A speed detection means to send out speed signals corresponding to the moving speed detected to a recording head, an air pressure control means 40 to control air pressure to be applied to the surface of ink in an ink tank 14, an amplification factor varying means to vary the implification factor of speed signals and/or the return pressure signal of the air control means 40 (e.g., an auxiliary pump to supply a pressure gas to compressive pump as an air pressure control means by operation when the amplification factor is varied), and an interface to put the speed signals as control targets to the air pressure control means when an ink injection command signal is sent out are provided. An air pressure controlled by the amplification factor-varying means proportionally to the speed of the recording head is applied to the inside of the ink tank 14. |
