PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of operation by controlling a motor to unload/load a tape from/to a small-sized tape cassette taking in a case having the same size as a standard size tape cassette by a switch interlocked with the opening/closing of a cover. CONSTITUTION:When the small-sized tape cassette is taken in a case having the same size as the standard size tape cassette and the cover 7 is closed, a projection 7a is pushes a turning direction alteration switch 29 for a switch 25, an electric power is supplied to a motor 18 and the rotation of the motor 18 is transmitted to a driving rack 17 through gears to move the rack 17 in the left direction. Arms 11, 15 are opened right and left, and guide rolls 12, 14 draw the tape 3 from the cassette 1, and at the completion of drawing, a limit switch 27 is opened and the motor 18 stops. When the cover 7 is opened, a turning direction changeover switch 29 is turned to the other contact, the motor 18 is reversely driven, and at the completion of taking in of the tape 3, the limit switch 28 is opened and the motor 18 stops. Consequently, operational efficiency is improved and operation errors can be prevented. |
