PURPOSE:To enable to make a small pump in a compact structure, by forming a curved passage by the circumferential wall of an impeller and a blanket, and forming a volute chamber with no under-cut in a casing. CONSTITUTION:Water imparted with the centrifugal force by an impeller 4 is ejected into a guide passage 10 from the outer circumference of the impeller 4. Here, since the wall of the guide passage 10 located on the side of a blanket 8 is shaped to have an arcuate surface 10-1 so as to carry water smmothly to a volute chamber 11 located on the upstream side and that located on the side of the outer circumference of the impeller 4 and a casing 7 is projected outwards, so that water is introduced promptly into the volute chamber 11 together with the function of the wall of the blanket 8 itself. Thus, since there is no undecut in the casing, a pump can be made in a compact structure. |
