PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a heat exchanger for a vehicle air conditioner of thermo-medium type by a method wherein an evaporator, radiater and various dampers are arranged in a cylindrical or semi-cylindrical form around a cross flow fan. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical evaporator 14 is arranged in a cross flow fan 10, a semi-cylindrical radiater 15 is arranged outside the cross flow fan 10 and the first damper 16 with an arcular section is rotatably arranged along the inner circumference of the radiater 15. The second damper 22 with an arcular section is also rotatably arranged along the inner circumference of the blowing ports 19-21. With this arrangement, the air fed from an air inlet port 12 by the cross flow fan 10 is subjected to heat exchange with the evaporator 14 to form cold medium. The cold medium passes through a radiater 16 and then is radiated from the blowing ports 19-21 into the compartment of the vehicle. With this arrangement, the device can be reduced in its size. |
