PURPOSE:To form a poly-para-xylene superior in ozone resistance characteristics and electrical conductivity, on the surface of a charge transfer layer and to improve sensitivity by an extent of deterioration of sensitivity caused by the formation of this protective layer, by regulating a ratio of an amt. of dye to an amt. of binder used for the transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:The present photoreceptor comprises a substrate, a charge generator, a charge transfer layer, and a protective layer. This protective layer is formed by vapor deposition of a poly-para-xylene resin. The ratio of proportion of the dye and the binder used for the charge transfer layer is within 10/10- 30/10. |
