PURPOSE:To accelerate front wheels at the time of turning by providing a front wheels drive system of a four-wheeled drive vehicle with stepless speed change gear and operating said gear in linkage with steering movement of a steering system. CONSTITUTION:Since a pitman arm 14 is longitudinally swung as shown by a virtual line when a handle is operated at the time of turning, a wire 54 is pulled, and a lever 53 is swung clockwise round a support shaft 51 against a spring 60. Thus, a roller 45 moves downward in parallel with a guide rod 49 through a fork 52, pin 50 and a bracket 48, therefore, its point of contact with a rotary disc 43 moves radially outward, while the same with a rotary disc 44 moves radially inward. Then, the stepless speed change gear 36 is changed to high speed, and front wheels 7 are put in accelerated rotation. When the handle is returned straight forth, the lever 53 is returned by means of the spring 60, and the stepless speed change gear 36 being returned to the predetermined condition. |
