摘要 PURPOSE:To accurately cut the internal peripheral grooves on a molding by allowing a disc-shaped cutter to rotate on its own axis and revolve round a work while holding the work such that it does not turn. CONSTITUTION:A cutter 3 is allowed to slide to and from a work 1 by the amount of its eccentricity while grasping the work 1 with a chuck 2, inserting the cutter 3 into a work cylinder, and driving the cutter. Thereafter, the chuck 2 is fixed, and annular internal peripheral grooves A having approximtely the same depth are cut on the internal surface of the cylindrical work 1 by making use of the rotation and revolution of the cutter 3. The depth of the grooves is set deeper if the first and second eccentric bosses subjected to a relative rotary motion and the amount of the eccentricity is made larger, while it is set shallower if the amount of the eccentricity is made smaller.
