PURPOSE:To obtain a solid model by a method wherein forming agent, which solidifies itself in a short time after being jetted in the air, is jetted from a nozzle on an artificial arm in association with the rotation of a turntable and raked smooth by means of forming pins, the protruded length of which are controllable at the tip of the artificial arm, before the solidification of said forming agent. CONSTITUTION:The forming agent is jetted from the nozzle 13 correspondingly to both the movements of the artificial arm 8 and the turntable 4 and at the same time formed by means of the forming pins 14 before the forming agent solidifies itself. Concretely, the rotation of the turntable 4, the position of a head 12 and the amount of forming agent to be jetted are controlled in response to the figure of a model to be formed by being calculated with a computer and furthermore the jetted forming agent is raked smooth into a desired figure by controlling the protruded amount of the forming pins 14 so as to produce a solid model 5. In such a manner as described above, the solid model can be produced based upon output signals from the computer. |
