PURPOSE:To enhance durability by coating a recording medium, such as magnetic tape. CONSTITUTION:A ferromagnetic metallic thin film made of a metal or its alloy or a compd. contg. either of them is formed on a substrate to obtain a magnetic recording material, and said thin film is coated with a titanium coupling agent represented by the shown formula in which R1 is a 1-5C hydrocarbon group, and R2 is 8-22C hydrocarbon group. |
