PURPOSE:To prevent a setting error of a card stopper, by providing a sensor which follows the card stopper on a card hopper, and generating an error signal when the sensor does not detect the end of a form. CONSTITUTION:A form 2a is stored in a card hopper 1, and a card stopper 7 is slided to a prescribed position on a slide bar 8 and is fixed. When the stopper 7 is slided in this way, a sensor 10 also follows it and slides on a slide bar 11. In case when the stopper 7 conforms with size of the form 2a, the sensor 10 detects that its reference position 10e is positioned at the end of the form 2a, and an output of a photodetector 10c and an output of a photodetector 10d become logic ''0'' and logic ''1'', respectively, and an error signal 10g becomes logic ''0''. If the stopper 7 is set to the right or the left from the prescribed position, the signal 10g becomes logic ''1'', by which an error can be detected. |
