PURPOSE:To provide a mixer which improves mixing performance and increases treatment capacity, by providing a screw for lifting and conveying which revolves around a central axis by crossing said axis in a vessel having a circumferential wall of nearly a cylindrical shape and forming the bottom part of the vessel to a circular conical sectional shape. CONSTITUTION:The circumfeential wall 1a in the part A to be stored with a mixture of a vessel 1 of a mixier is formed to a cylindrica or resembling shape, and a screw crossing an axial center P is provided in the state of cantilever support to the free end side of an arm 3 which is made freely rotatable around the center P of the longitudinal cental shaft of the vessel by means of an electric motor 4, a ruduction gear 5, etc. on a base 2 provided in the upper part of the vessel 1. The screw contains a driving mechanism which rotates according to revolution, and the mixing is effected by the cooperation of the agitation by the revolution and rotation of said screw and the lifting and cnveying of the material to be mixed. A circular conical part 1b is provided along the lower part of the screw on the bottom wall of the vessel 1 provided with a mixture discharge port 8 having a shutter 7 so that the region where the material cannot be mixed by the screw is eliminated. |
