PURPOSE:A friction material composition, containing antimony metallic powder in a specific amount, having a small variation in coefficient of friction, capable of preventing abnormal noises at a low frequency, e.g. brake squeals, and vehicular vibration, and useful for disk brake pads, brake linings, etc. CONSTITUTION:A friction material composition containing 0.5-20vol.% antimony metallic powder, e.g. having 60-200 mesh particle size. |
