<p>A prefabricated synthetic strip provided with perpendicular grooves, producing a resonant warning when vehicles are passing by is adhered preferably with hot asphaltic bitumen to the surface layer of the road, in a groove milled between the traffic lane and the stop band or cycle track. Said perpendicular grooves have a rectangular cross-section with lower rounded angles. The resonant strip, preferably made of thermoplastic synthetic material, has a lower carrier part with a V-shaped cross-section; its bottom portion is reinforced by a steel wire weaving. The resonant strip has also a layer with perpendicular grooves, fused with the carrier part and containing a filler of hard and friction-resistant material. The material of the resonant strip may contain white pigments and the upper layer may contain light-reflecting granular elements.</p> |
