<p>Chemical demolition is brought about by a water/powder product which is placed in pre-drilled holes, which dry product comprises burnt lime with slaking retarding agents, Portland cement and plasticizer. The expansion of the lime is retarded to such a degree, that at water addition the cement has time to stabilize to a solid body in the entire mixture, placed for example in a predrilled hole before the lime expansion commences, which results in a solid but expanding and thereby blasting body.</p> |
