<p>PURPOSE:To detect stably a position with high sensitivity, without depending on a contact state of a pen, etc., by providing a contact pad by an islandlike conductive body layer which is coupled electrostatically with a detecting electrode, on a position corresponding to the detecting electrode on a dielectric film. CONSTITUTION:A detecting electrode 2 connected to a line direction bus 2a is provided on the surface of a glass substrate 1, and the first dielectric film 3a is formed on the surface of the glass substrate containing this electrode 2. Also, a detecting electrode 4 connected to a row direction bus 4a is formed on its film 3a, and the surface of this electrode 4 is covered with the second dielectric film 3b. Subsequently, a square is islandlike contact pad 5 is provided through the films 3a, 3b is provided on electrodes 2, 4 placed in the vicinity of each intersection point of the line and row direction buses 2a, 4a. This pad 5 and the electrode 2, 4 are coupled electrostatically, influence to a detected position by a contact state of a pen, etc. is eliminated, and a position can be detected stably with high sensitivity.</p> |
