PURPOSE:To make possible precise temperature control by regulating electric power quantity according to the computed value of the thermal hysterisis at each position on a line that is now printed on the basis of picture data in already printed old lines. CONSTITUTION:A picture data 2 enters the arithmetic circuit 13 through RAM1, the shift register 11 to determine printing electric power. When the printing power is to be determined now on bit B[N,M], such weight that the nearest M takes 5 is added to each between bits M-3-M+3 on the previous line having an influence upon printing concentration, the sum of the influences is found in the arithmetic circuit 13, further, a weight 0.8 is given to the arithmetic value of the line before the previous line, the sum total of the influences is found by requential addition. This is an electric power limitation information 15. This information 15 regulates the applying power to the thermal head through the pulse width correcting circuit 16. additionally, this information 15 is stored in the RAM18 as the information of the line before the previous line. Therefore, temperature can be controlled finely. |
