Front axle for utility vehicles

In a front axle for utility vehicles, the wheels are mounted on axle legs which are coupled to one another and which carry out steering movements. The steering movements are brought about by means of a direct input of the steering gear into one of the axle legs. A considerable simplification of the steering system is thus possible in that neither is the steering gear to be equipped with a steering arm nor is a steering rod to be provided. The steering system thus requires considerably less expenditure, it being possible to install the steering gear on the front axle in the region of one axle end in a space-saving manner.
