The STOL aircraft has wing tip and edge outlets for pressurised and exhaust gas from the engine. The outlets are in wing tip-shaped, hollow caps which can be rotated between a position with the openings closed, pointing outwards, and one with them open, pointing downwards. Ailerons and flaps are hollow and have outlets in the trailing edges the flaps being supplied through flexible hoses. A toggle lever controls flap position by a linkage from one fulcrum, and sets the outlet by a Bowden-cable from the other one. The tip outlets are angled inwards progressively from the leading edge.
