Water distributor for WCs

The invention concerns the field of sanitary engineering. It relates to a specially designed plastics insert for insertion into the flushing-pipe connection of the WC for distributing the flushing water. The aim of the embodiment according to the invention is to provide a fully automatic, material-saving, inexpensive and efficient water distributor. This means an increase in labour productivity and a substantial decrease in costs while, at the same time, quality is increased in comparison with manufacturing processes used hitherto. As a result of the insertable water distributor, the prior-art water distributor, which is manufactured from ceramic material and which has to be incorporated into the WC, is dispensed with. As a result of the easy-flow shaping of the water channelling of the distributor, the quantity of flushing water can be reduced. Therefore, water and energy can be saved. The water distributor is produced in an injection-moulding process from plastic material. It comprises a housing in the shape of a cylinder and exhibits sealing elements running around its centre, a guide surface, stop cams, outlet openings for the water, and a directing surface as well as guide ribs.
