发明名称 TWO COLOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC METHOD WITH PARTIAL COLORING
摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain a two color image from a black and white original by superposing a filter in the optional part of the black and white image of the original, illuminating the image with white light through a filter to expose the image on a photoreceptor and forming a surface potential distribution of both positive and negative polarities. CONSTITUTION:A photoreceptor 1 is made into the 3-layered construction wherein the 1st photoconductive layer 11 and the 2nd photoconductive layer 12 are laminated on a conductive substrate 10. One of the layers 11, 12 is so controlled as to be made conductive when it is subjected to irradiation of chromatic light of a color A, and the photoreceptor is exposed while the layers 11, 12 are held charged in the direction opposite from each other. Light is irradiated on a black and white original O through a filter F which emits the fluorescence of the color A and permits the transmission of white visiible light and the surface potential distribution of both positive and negative polarities is formed on the photoreceptor 1. The latent image is developed by two kinds of toners T which are colored to the colors differing from each other and are charged electrostatically to the polarities reversed from each other. The visible image of two colors is thus obtd. on the photoreceptor 1.
