PURPOSE:To provide a titled treating device which improves treatment performance with simple means, by the constitution wherein a treating vessel 1 sandwiched with a pair of shifting magnetic field generators in opposite directions is partitioned to the treatment chambers set to the same size as the polar pitch of the shifting magnetic field. CONSTITUTION:A treating vessel 1 to be contained therein with working pieces 3 which are ferromagnetic or non-magnetic conductive materials is segmented to treatment chambers 7 by means of partition walls 6 in a treating device which subjects the materials 2 to be treated to grinding, mixing, agitation, etc. in the vessel 1 by providing a pair of magnetic field generators 4, 5 for generating shifting magnetic fields in mutually opposite directions phi1, phi2 with the vessel 1 in-between and inducing random motion in the pieces 3 by the effect of the electromagnetic forces generated by said shifting magnetic fields phi1, phi2. The walls 6 are preferably positioned at the center of each region A having the steady intensity of the strong magnetic fields or the region B having the steady intensity of the weak magnetic fields, and the sizes of the individual chambers 7 are set at the same size as the polar pitch P of said generators 4, 5 along the arrow directions of the magnetic fields phi1, phi2. |
