A solid-state image pick-up element is specified which has a row arrangement of resolution cells out of which a signal is shifted in succession in the form of a charge in order to generate video signals at the output of the element, the image charge from each cell being divided into three parts, two parts of which are added to respective individual parts of the parts of image charges from the two adjacent cells in order to form signals for interpolated zones in the centre of the spaces between the in each case successive two resolution cells.
