A snow-clearing device (1), in particular for a railed vehicle, consists of two snow blowers which are arranged in two blower front-part halves (3a, 3b) and which, by means of an adjusting device, can be adjusted laterally to the right and left of the central longitudinal axis of the vehicle and can be moved towards one another until they meet. In order to carry out optimum snow clearing in a single work operation not only in the immediate track region but additionally also on the projecting edge regions running parallel thereto, a wedge plough (9) is provided between the two blower front-part halves (3a, 3b). In a preferred embodiment, the wedge plough (9) is at the same time arranged to be extendable and retractable together with the two blower front-part halves (3a, 3b). The snow lying in the central region is thus optimally conveyed to the two laterally extended snow blowers. <IMAGE>
