PURPOSE:To enhance the startability and the operationability upon idling of an internal-combustion engine, by setting the ignition timing of the engine, individually upon engine starting and upon idling. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a first crank angle sensor 16 for detecting an optimum ignition timing upon starting and issuing an ignition timing signal and as well a second crank angle sensor 17 for detecting an optimum ignition timing upon idling and issuing an ignition timing signal. With the use of a starting signal delivered from a starter 15, the above-mentioned two ignition timing signals are switchedly utilized by AND circuits 24, 25 and an inverter circuit 28. With this arrangement, the ignition timing of the engine may have optimum characteristics respectively upon starting and upon idling. |
