PURPOSE:To improve the safety of the solar heat water heater even when a strong wind blows and to make the external appearance of the water heater beautiful by a method wherein in the case of the solar heat water provided with a hot water storage tank for storing hot water obtained by a heat collector, the hot water storage tank is attached to the wall of a house. CONSTITUTION:The hot water storage tank 2 of the solar heat water heater is fixed to the wall 5 of the second floor of the house and the tank 2 and the heat collector 3 are connected to each other through an L-shaped connecting metal fitting 10 having its side section 9 fixed to the tank 2 so that the upper end of the heat collector 3 is held stationary and the lower end thereof is fixed to the roof 1 by means of a wire 4. In this connection, it should be noted that although, in the drawing, the tank fixed to the wall 5 is spaced apart from the heat collector 3, it is also possible to make the lower surface of the tank 2 lie near the roof surface 1 without leaving any gap from the heat collector 3. |
