PURPOSE:To support the movable part of an operating system positively by fitting a supporting member to the fit-in part of a gear case from above, and engaging a shift fork with the fork engaging part of the shift slider of a clutch gear to transmit the operation of a rod member to the shift slider. CONSTITUTION:A clutch shifter pin 38 is integral with a clutch gear 30 and slided longitudinally in relation to a propeller shaft 9. A shift fork 50 is laid across an inner shift slider 34 and an outer shift slider 33, and a supporting member 51 formed at a gear case 5 is supported from above. The lower end of a shift rod 10 is fittingly fixed to the inside of an eccentric pin holder 55 fitted into the supporting member 51. When the shift rod 10 is rotated, an eccentric pin 56 moves the inner shift slider 34 forward or the outer shift slider 33 backward by the shift fork 50 through the eccentric pin holder 55, so that the clutch gear 30 is meshed with a driven gear 19 or 20 to rotate the propeller shaft 9 normally and reversely. |
