PURPOSE:To provide the mat for a bed for helping of which washing and disinfecting are easy by assembling many plastic wires into a three-dimensional net form while curving these wires and providing the inside thereof with washing pipes, air vent pipes or hole parts to permit insertion of disinfectants, etc. CONSTITUTION:This mat 1 is constituted by assembling the many wires 2 made of a plastic, such as polypropylene, into the three-dimensional net form. The mat 1 has internally the hole parts 3. The washing pipes, vent pipes, etc., are insertable into the hole parts 3 and bags, etc., housing the disinfectants, etc., are insertable therein. The process for production thereof consists of mounting dies arranging plural orifices opening downward flatly in such a manner that blank parts exist at required points on an extruder and continuously extruding thermoplastic resins from the respective orifices by this extruder, thereby forming the many wires and suspending these wires. The respective wires are taken off slower than the falling speed to make the wires curved. The hole parts are formed below the blank parts while the mutual contact parts are adhered and while the wires are assembled into the three-dimensional net form. |
