PREVENTIVE DEVICE AGAINST WATER LEAKAGE

PURPOSE:To prevent water leakage from a swing socket used for joints of pipes buried in the underground. CONSTITUTION:The outer peripheral face of a swing socket 1 is protrusively formed so as to shape a curved face outward. The inner peripheral face at one end of a reinforcing pipe body is formed to make a straight pipe so as to contact the outer peripheral face of a sewer pipe 9. The inner peripheral face at the other end of the reinforcing pipe body 22 is formed to shape a curved face so as to extend along the outer peripheral face of the swing socket 1. The reinforcing pipe body 22 is formed to shape a half-divided pipe in the axial direction. An upper reinforcing pipe body 26 and a lower reinforcing pipe body 27 are formed. In this way, the sewer pipe 9 is prevented from deforming flat due to the earth pressure from the upper side and also water leakage between the swing socket 1 and the sewer pipe 9 can be prevented. Even when a sewer pipe 9 is connected to a catch-basin 2 at an acute angle, the reinforcing pipe body 22 can be closely fitted to the swing socket 1.
